The fire training organized by the Occupational Health and Safety Coordinatorship of our University provided life-saving skills to the participants. On June 14th, 2023, the training was organized by Lecturer  Sezer YALÇIN, the theoretical and practical fire training was organized for fire support teams.

Lecturer Sezer YALÇIN, who is an expert in the prevention and intervention of fires. Lecturer Sezer YALÇIN provided valuable information to the participants. In the theoretical part of the training, basic issues such as the causes of fires, the rate of spread, fire classifications and fire safety measures were discussed. Participants learned the safety protocols and learned to act correctly and effectively in emergencies.

The practical part of the training was carried out through a real fire scenario. Participants practiced their skills in using fire extinguishers and experienced a realistic drill. This exercise provided participants with the opportunity to apply their knowledge and helped them to be prepared for real-life fire situations.

At a ceremony organized after the training, the participants received their certificates and the trainer, Lect. Sezer YALÇIN was presented a certificate of appreciation. The participants expressed their gratitude for this valuable training, stating that they felt safer and better equipped to fight fires.

The University will continue to ensure the safety of its staff and students through such important training. Programs that teach how to deal with emergencies, such as fire training, ensure that participants live in a safe environment and act in the right way in case of any danger.
